How do I obtain my completion certificate and/or transcript?

Upon completion of your apprenticeship/traineeship the TAFE will send you a transcript and certificate stating your completion.

What do I do if I am being treated unfairly or discriminated against at work?

Contact your field officer to discuss your concerns and have them dealt with in accordance with the policy & procedures of both HNGTC and your place of work, in obtaining a suitable outcome.

What happens if I am injured at work?

Report the situation to your supervisor and HNGTC field officer immediately. HNGTC will ensure that you are offered the best treatment possible for the sustained injury. Ongoing assistance will be provided to ensure that your return to work will be suitable and timely, so as not to have any adverse effect to your health and wellbeing.

What do I do, if I am unhappy with the company that I have been placed with for my apprenticeship/traineeship?

Contact your field officer to discuss the situation, so that all available options are considered and a suitable outcome is found e.g. possible transfer and placement with another company.

What should I do if I am considering early completion?

Contact your field officer on Manager, who will advise you of the steps involved as well as the appropriate options.

What happens if my apprenticeship/traineeship is cancelled?

The opportunity to recommence/continue your apprenticeship/traineeship is still available. You will need to complete another training contract agreement with your new employer and provide details of those competencies that you have already completed in order to gain RPL (recognition of prior learning).
