Hunter Defence Conference 2018

By August 13, 2018

Networking with Defence:
Do you know how to engage with the key decision makers of defence?

The Annual Hunter Defence Conference will provide unique engagement opportunities with domestic and global supply chain key decision makers. We encourage all local industry to get on board and invest in their future of opportunities.

This is the largest regional defence conference in Australia.

The conference aims to:

·       Educate all industry on defence requirements

·       Provide insight into how to interact with defence in meeting their requirements

·       Outline Government initiatives that support industry in the area and how they are accessed

·       Enabling networking opportunities for collaborating capabilities

The Conference will focus on regional innovation and collaborative commercial opportunities relevant to Land, Sea and Air Defence. Helping to develop SME’s and their understanding of their respective roles and requirements in delivering Defence outcomes. SME’s and start-ups will be able to showcase their products or services to other Conference attendees.

A highlight of the Conference will be the Gala Dinner held on the evening of the 30th August. Red Bull Racer Matt Hall will be performing a spectacular low flying aerial show during our networking drinks. Matt will also be our special guest speaker during the Dinner, sharing with us some of the highlights of his career as a Master Class Pilot.

Once again, we will donate to the Hunter Defence Support Network and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service from the proceeds of the Conference. These organisations do great work in supporting our region and the serving members and veterans of the Australian Defence Force. We encourage all Conference participants to also give their support.
