Celebrating Excellence at the Apprentice Employment Network Awards
Each year, the Apprentice Employment Network NSW & ACT shines a spotlight on the incredible achievements of apprentices, trainees, school-based apprentices and trainees (SBATs), and the host companies who support them through its prestigious annual Awards Night in October.
At HunterNet Career Connections, we are proud to be part of this celebration of skills, growth, and dedication. This year, we nominated a number of our outstanding employees and host employers – many of whom were also recognised as finalists and or winners at the HunterNet Industry Excellence Awards.
We’re delighted to share that our nominees have reached the finalist stage across four of the nine award categories—an outstanding achievement that highlights the calibre of talent and commitment across our network:
Apprentice of the Year – Sarah Pringle
School-Based Apprentice/Trainee of the Year –Â Harmony Etuale
Large Host of the Year – UGL Rail Services
Women in Trades Apprentice/Trainee of the Year –Â Isla Johnston
This recognition is not only a reflection of the hard work of our apprentices and trainees but also the dedication of our host employers, who provide the support, guidance, and opportunities needed for these individuals to thrive.
We are privileged to work alongside such inspiring people and organisations, and we’re excited to showcase their journeys. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be in touch with our finalists and hosts to gather photos and bios, so keep an eye out for more stories celebrating their success.
