What a busy period it has been for our amazing family of members, host companies, apprentices/trainees, Future Leaders Program participants, partners, stakeholders, and team members. In February, we finalised our new strategic approach with input from a wide range of audiences and stakeholders, including our HunterNet Patron members. In March, we have launched a new website, revealed new branding, kicked off our 30-year anniversary celebrations, celebrated members, host companies, and apprentices and trainees at our annual Chairman’s Awards, and hosted a sell-out International Women’s Day event, featuring some truly inspiring speakers and panelists.
A new look for HunterNet
As part of the development of a new strategic plan for the organisation, and future-proofing the value that HunterNet provides to its members, host companies, and future leaders, the HunterNet brand has been through an evolution. This evolution speaks to our past, but also strengthens and modernises our presentation to the market. It also creates a closer connection between the HunterNet family of offerings, as well as partner groups such as Hunter Defence and NEWH2.
The new website harnesses the new branding to present a stronger, clearer picture of the HunterNet offering to the market. Importantly, a new directory has been added to help members better promote – and find – services within the HunterNet Group.

A new name for HunterNet Group Training
As part of the new branding, HunterNet Group Training has been renamed to HunterNet Career Connections. The new fresh and dynamic name speaks louder to trainees, apprentices, graduates and cadets – we are helping them find and secure careers (not just jobs), with opportunities for progression – as well as creating the right connections between businesses and trainees.
Apprentices and trainees can still search for job openings on SEEK using ‘HunterNet’ or head to our new vacancies page. For any organisations out there looking to become a host company, you can find out more here.
30 Year Anniversary
The Chairman’s Awards kicked off celebrations for our 30-year anniversary this year. We’ve created a new video featuring key HunterNet family members, and will also be releasing a series of interview-style videos across the year featuring members past and present, as well as other key stakeholders who have shaped the organisation and who are looking firmly forward to what the next 30 years will bring.
