4th Year Electrical Apprentice at UGL Rail, Kangy Angy

We’re thrilled to shine the spotlight on Matthew Linehan, our Employee of the Month and a 4th Year Electrical Apprentice working with UGL Rail at Kangy Angy.

Matthew has become a bit of a legend on site – not just for his electrical know-how, but for the way he tackles every task with a steady hand and a sharp eye for detail (and danger!). When it comes to safety, Matthew doesn’t just follow the rules – he lives them. Always one step ahead, he’s quick to spot potential hazards and act before they become issues. Think of him as an unofficial safety superhero – high-vis cape optional.

From complex wiring to decoding schematics that look like abstract art to the untrained eye, Matthew’s technical skills are top-tier. He brings a level of precision and professionalism that you’d expect from someone well beyond apprentice level – and he does it with zero fuss.

Need someone you can count on? That’s Matthew. He shows up, steps up, and gets the job done. Whether it’s meeting deadlines or jumping in to support his team, he’s the kind of person every workplace wishes they had more of.

Congratulations, Matthew – you’ve earned your moment in the spotlight (and not just because you helped wire it).
