Join us for our June General Members Meeting to be hosted at the University of Newcastle by NU Teams.

NU Teams is the University of Newcastle’s professional engineering student teams organisation. NU Teams support over 100 extracurricular, course-credit, and final-year project students to design, build, and test 400 V electric racecars, rockets capable of flight to 10,000 ft, and fully-autonomous marine vessels.

The teams contest national and international design & build competitions, developing technical design & build skills not otherwise taught in an engineering degree. Among these are conventional and CNC manufacture, PCB design and manufacture, rapid prototyping, Git, ML model training, etc.

The teams are supported by local engineering businesses, who contribute funding support, industry access and mentoring opportunities. Our industry partner program recognises these businesses and provides a direct link to our graduating students.

We are thrilled that many HunterNet members are already NU Teams industry partners, and invite any interested members to speak to NU Teams about joining the program.
