We are in a global age and the businesses of the Hunter are in a great position to take advantage of being international businesses. Quite a few already are but there is huge potential for so much more. This is the first of what is intended to be regular forums to encourage, inform and support the international ambition of Hunter businesses.

There is a lot of change occurring, mostly due to the actions of the USA on Tariffs, but out of change comes opportunity.

There a many ways to be involved in international business which can be summarised into four basic dimensions Export, Import, Foreign Direct Investment in an overseas country, and Partnering with an overseas company in Foreign Direct Investment into Australia.

At this forum we will discuss each of these four and explore the opportunities each one can provide, as well as the impact of USA Tariffs on these international opportunities.
