HunterNet is looking to resurrect the Projects and Opportunities register, and this forum is intended to calibrate and update the register, and achieve a consensus of how the register is to be attended.
What is the Projects and Opportunities register? The Projects and Opportunities register is a capture of all the known upcoming projects, generally within our region, that cross our industry forums in Resources & Energy, Infrastructure & Asset Management, and Environment & Sustainability. The register includes projects in the public domain as well as those less visible but that our network has knowledge of and access to. The Projects and Opportunities register is therefore a useful business development tool, with near term, mid term and far horizon opportunities, and is therefore a useful strategic resource for many HunterNet members.
The register has been migrated to Smart Sheets by Clive Jones of Jonesci Alliance, and Clive will facilitate an orientation/training session at this forum in how to interact and use the register. HunterNet will also advise the business rules and behaviours around its use, and expectations of members in this regard.
HunterNet is evolving in how the register can present greater amenity, and is exploring how projects, identified as containing a critical mass of member collaboration, could provide strategic anchors for the activities of another HunterNet initiative, the Manufacturing Hubs.
For members wishing to get more return on their membership, this forum provides an avenue for greater involvement. We urge you to attend, provide input into the register for projects that may not be captured, but also to have your say in how you think this valuable resource could be put to greatest use.
