Ron Weinberger and Jeff Heron (both from NAVAIR SYSCOM Security Cooperation Office – International Programs) are visiting Newcastle on 8 March 2023.
Hunter Defence in partnership with Goal Group have invited them to brief Regional Defence Industry on a US initiative to expand/enhance the USN FMS (Foreign Military Sales) supply chain by utilising the strength of partner countries’ industrial base for the RoR pipeline. (Maintenance Repair and Overhaul – MRO).
The briefing will be held at the Anzac Room at Souths Leagues Club on 8 March 2023 at 9am.
While they are representing USN during their visit, we believe that this initiative will expand to USAF and USMC as they seek to release pressure off a repairables pipeline that is struggling with both quantity of repairs and with obsolescence issues.
