Applications for the EMDG (Export Market Development Grants) will open AEDT 10am on 12 November for applicants Tiers 1-3, and Representative bodies applications open AEDT 10am on 6 November. Applicants need to match the grant with their own spending (min spend $20K).
The EMDG program provides matched funding to eligible Australian small and medium enterprises (SMEs) – and their representative bodies – to support export-related marketing, promotional activities and training.
The EMDG program provides grants to Australian small and medium enterprises and their representative bodies to:
- market and promote their goods and services globally
- undertake export training.
EMDG provides grants for the following:
- Tier 1 – small and medium enterprises ready to export
- Tier 2 – small and medium enterprises exporting within existing markets
- Tier 3 – small and medium enterprises exporting to new key markets
- Representative bodies – that support small and medium business members to achieve export success.
NB: When applications open they will be assessed in the order in which they are received and will close when the funding has been fully allocated.
