The HunterNet Future Leaders Program is uniquely designed to take our region’s young professionals to the next level through exposure to industry leading presenters, crossfunctional networking, and a competitive scenario-based project experience.
The dynamic workshop sessions invite participants to share their individual experiences across various sectors, and interact directly with industry-leading presenters, allowing the participants to exclusively leverage mutual knowledge.
A key aspect of the Program is the major project where the participants form multi-disciplinary teams and work within a competitive business environment on a topic relevant to the business world today. Over the last few years, the Project has seen participants develop realistic and innovative solutions for various contemporary issues such as global export markets, transport networks, and the Hunter’s ‘brain drain’ crisis. During the Project, teams are mentored by industry leading professionals and collectively present to a judging panel consisting of prominent business executives.
This Program allows Hunter businesses to not only invest in the future of their young professionals, but safeguard the continued success of their business. Each year this Program grows from strength to strength, with 2021 Program places already limited! Get in quick to secure the leadership development opportunity of a lifetime.
“Our employee embarked on the Future Leader Journey in April and the growth we have seen in their productivity, mindset, capabilities and above all leadership qualities has most certainly impressed us and reinforced how great a Program this is. Our company has prioritised the importance of developing and nurturing our own. We cannot thank HunterNet enough for this Program and we’re using this as part of the learning and development of our future leaders. The Hunter is certainly in good hands with our leaders of the future.”
“I found the Program such a great experience, all leadership topics were practical and I could easily adapt these tools not only in my workplace but also in my personal life. The knowledge & experience I have gained and the networks I have created has given me the confidence to strive for more than I ever thought possible.”
The 2021 Future Leaders Program is supported by The University of Newcastle (UON)
