Superintendent Major Projects

Marty grew up in the family cattle business in the Murray Valley in Southern NSW. He completed a Bachelor of Mining Engineering at UNSW then worked in the mining industry from 2008 to 2017 when he joined Port Waratah Coal Services as Operations Superintendent.
In 2017, Marty was awarded the Kristen Keagan Scholarship to complete the FLP and, in 2018, acted as Terminal Manager at Carrington, overseeing a team of 100. He applies his passion for developing others as a mentor in the Women in Mining Network Program.

Captain Jeanine Drummond is an experienced Harbour Master, Master Mariner and maritime industry leader. Her extensive maritime background spans at sea, offshore, oil and gas, and the ports sector, both in governance and operations, in Australia and Internationally.
Jeanine is a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion on every level across the maritime industry and was well-recognised for her work in this area as the inaugural recipient of the Australian Shipping and Maritime Industry’ Women in Shipping & Logistics Award’ in 2018.

Nour grew up in the ice city of Canberra before moving to the big smoke to study Chemical and Biomedical Engineering. She then found her way to Newcastle on a graduate program at OneSteel who invested a lot of time into training their new recruits.
After being exposed to Six Sigma, lean manufacturing and project management, Nour moved into process improvement at Port Waratah Coal Services. She then branched out into explosives working at Orica. She’s passionate about growing female representation in industry.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
James, supported at TMRK by Chief Operating Office Bronwyn Smart CAHRI FGIA and a handpicked team of analysts, thrives on building risk management capability and performance for organisations that deliver valuable outcomes for the community.
Outside of his current role, James is Secretary for the Hunter Branch of the Disabled Surfers Association. He’s also served on disability sector boards and education sector audit and risk committees and is a published author and regular guest lecturer at UON and Hunter TAFE.

Executive Director, Infrastructure, Planning and Sustainability
Ramsey has many years of experience in public and government roles. His previous positions have included Deputy Head of School and Senior Lecturer (School of Architecture & Built Environment) at UON and Executive Director at Ernst & Young in Government Advisory.
His qualifications include a Doctorate in Health & Medicine, a Bachelor of Architecture (Hons), a Bachelor of Science(Arch), a Bachelor of Construction Management, and executive education from Harvard University Business School and Cambridge University Business School.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Ivan has a background in manufacturing, operations and projects and has worked across Europe, Asia, Australasia and the Americas. He first got involved with HunterNet back in 2003 while working for a patron member and sat on the HunterNet Board for 10 years.
A focused leader, Ivan thrives on assisting organisations in achieving transformational change. Working with manufacturing, operational, engineering or project teams, he helps develop sound strategy, set goals, and improve operational structure and staff culture.
Board Advisor to HunterNet
Greg is a global business executive with 30 years of experience who specialises in business development and transformations. He brings real drive and energy to organisations and has a record of influencing innovation, culture change and sustainable profit growth.
Greg’s most recent role was CEO/MD of Bisalloy Steels Group (ASX: BIS), a business he led through a transformation strategy. He has also led several global companies, including JV’s and acquisitions in China, the USA and Europe. He’s also done ad hoc strategic business advising.
Chief Information Officer (CIO)
Ange is an executive leader, board member and internationally published author with more than 20 years of leadership experience in technology, healthcare, utilities, finance and agriculture. In 2020, she was ranked #2 in Australia’s TOP 50 CIOs by CIO Magazine.
Fulfilling her passion for women in leadership, Ange was recently invited to be the champion and co-creator of an international program for the advancement of Women in STEM2D Entrepreneurship (WISE) with the University of Southern Queensland (USQ).
