Manufacturing

Our manufacturing innovation network cluster exists to develop and promote 4.0 capabilities.

Making manufacturing in the Hunter great

HunterNet was founded by senior representatives of local manufacturers, and manufacturing continues to sit at the core of our DNA. Our manufacturing innovation network currently includes around half of our HunterNet members.

Our well-established network helps businesses become advanced 4.0 manufacturers. We share knowledge and give them the tools to adapt, pivot, streamline and refine their products and processes to meet industry requirements both today and tomorrow.

NSW has the largest number of manufacturing businesses of any state or territory in Australia – approximately 26,127. These businesses collectively generate $33 billion in industry value-added and employ more than 253,000 people in various industries.
