HunterNet 2026 Future Leaders Program Kicks Off Strong
The 2026 HunterNet Future Leaders Program is well underway, with the first three sessions setting a strong foundation for what promises to be an impactful journey for participants. Designed to develop emerging leaders through real-world exposure, industry engagement and collaboration, the program continues to bring learning to life in practical and meaningful ways
Session One: “From Contact to Capital, Converting Connections into Activated Relationship Ecosystems”
The first leadership session set the tone for an exciting year ahead, with Julia Palmer, CEO of Relatus and Relational Strategist, delivering an incredibly powerful session.
Julia challenged the cohort to rethink the way they build and nurture relationships, because leadership today isn’t just about who you know, it’s about how you create meaningful connections that unlock opportunity and influence.
The session explored how to:
Move from contact → connection → relationship capital
Activate the Pollination Effect to open doors and create opportunity
Strengthen relationships through emotional and relational intelligence
Build networks that drive long-term success and growth
Session Two: Authentic Leadership – Leading with Impact and Integrity, delivered by Jeremy (Jez) Dooley.
Building on this momentum, the second session provided participants with the opportunity to engage more deeply with their idea of leadership.
Jez brought a grounded and practical perspective on leadership, challenging participants to reflect on how authenticity, self-awareness, and values underpin effective leadership.
The session explored the importance of building trust, leading with consistency, and understanding the impact leaders have on their teams and organisations. It was a valuable opportunity for the cohort to pause, reflect, and consider how they show up as leaders.
Session Three: Mental Health and Wellbeing
Presented by Anchor Health Group and Steve Gamble, this session focused on an incredibly important conversation around mental health and wellbeing.
The insights, tools, and honest discussions shared will stay with the cohort well beyond the program. Helping shape more self-aware, resilient, and supportive leaders.
Because when we prioritise our wellbeing, we show up better for our teams, our organisations, and ourselves.
A Strong Start to 2026
As the program continues, these early sessions have laid a solid foundation for what promises to be an inspiring and transformative journey for all involved.
