| Mai-Wel’s biggest fundraiser of the year is back and we need your help to make it a success! Mai-Wel’s Gala Ball will celebrate our 60th Anniversary – that’s 60 years of supporting people in the Hunter to achieve their hopes and dreams for life. For two years the Gala Ball has been put on hold for the safety of all those who attend this special night. Now, the date is officially set for the 15th October 2022 at the Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley. We’re seeking support from individuals and businesses to help make the event a fundraising success! There are a number of sponsorship opportunities available for the Gala Ball. From purchasing a sponsorship package, which will provide complimentary tickets and logo placement and more, to donating a prize to raffle on the event night, or even just buying a ticket and helping us celebrate with your presence on the night, there are a number of ways you can help us make this big night of glitz and glamour a success. All donations truly help us to make a difference to the people we support. What does that mean exactly? Our NDIS support services for people with disability aim to increase choice and control in all areas of life; from support in the home, to getting out into the community, social and skill-based lifestyle and leisure programs and employment supports. Our employment services extend to youth who are experiencing difficulties or barriers to gaining employment, helping them to address the barriers and transition into employment, training or further education after school. Funds raised at Mai-Wel’s Gala Ball goes straight back into creating bigger and better services to achieve these life changing outcomes, and to help us expand these services to more people in our community.
