We would like to express our gratitude to Muswellbrook Shire Council and The Melt for graciously hosting us for the NewH2 Knowledge Exchange. We are also grateful to the University of Newcastle and the NSW Energy & Resources Knowledge Hub for their support with the program. Our visit to the Hunter Innovation Precinct and Modern Manufacturing Centre was truly inspiring, as were the presentations and discussions on the latest hydrogen developments, STEM and skills development, decarbonisation, and clean energy tech and innovation.

We extend our sincere thanks to Tim Stock from the NSW Government for providing an update on the Government’s Hydrogen Strategy and sharing his observations on global developments. Chris Reynolds from AGL also presented an update on the Hunter Energy Hub plans, and Tony Westmore enlightened us about the NSW Decarbonisation Innovation Hub.

Furthermore, we had the pleasure of engaging in an insightful panel discussion on the workforce skills needed for the Hunter energy transition, expertly hosted by Nick Couper. We would like to express our gratitude to our esteemed panelists, Myles Egan, Kathy Cox, and Peter Schreiner.

The momentum for clean energy in the Hunter and NSW is truly remarkable, and we are thrilled to see such a fantastic turnout from the cluster! We would like to thank each and every one of you for being a part of this event, and we eagerly look forward to seeing you at the next one!
