Our October General Members Meeting (GMM) was another outstanding evening of networking, collaboration, and industry insights, proudly hosted by PBE Rutherford at their state-of-the-art Tomago facility.
Members had the unique opportunity to tour PBE Group’s advanced high-voltage equipment and services centre—a hub of innovation supporting Australia’s mining and infrastructure sectors. Attendees gained insight into PBE Group’s five specialist divisions—Cables & Couplers, Manufacturing & Overhauls, Equipment Hire, Site Electrification Projects, and Site Services—and learned how these integrated teams deliver turnkey electrical systems that keep industry operations safe, efficient, and future-ready.
We were also delighted to welcome our newest Patron Member, Orica, and extend a warm introduction to Kormax, who have joined the HunterNet community and embraced the Power of Many.
The evening featured valuable updates and insights from our member presenters: Apollo Engineering, Australian Electric Vehicle Specialists, ControlX Engineering, Hammersley Products Australia, and R & R Murphy. Each shared the latest developments within their businesses and across the broader manufacturing, engineering, and energy sectors.
As always, the GMM provided a fantastic platform for members to connect, share opportunities, and strengthen collaboration across the Hunter’s diverse industrial network.
A special thank you to PBE Group for hosting and showcasing their world-class facility, and to all members who joined us for this engaging evening.
