Suzie is the Newcastle Office Partner in Charge of Hall & Wilcox, a leading national law firm with 140+ partners and 1200+ people nationally, with a growing team of nearly 80 based in Newcastle. Suzie is a highly regarded specialist in corporate and commercial law, experienced in advising boards of directors, company secretaries, business owners and C-suite executives on M&A, regulatory compliance, shareholder agreements, director duties, corporate governance, commercial contracting, ecommerce and competition & consumer law.  She has particular expertise in technology and manufacturing sectors and regularly advises Hunternet members as an outsourced legal counsel on day to day business legal matters and emerging risks such as ESG, privacy law, technology transactions and AI, business succession planning and shareholder exits.  She Co-Leads Hall & Wilcox’s Beyond Compliance board and executive training, is Co-Host of the Building Better Boards and Leaders podcast and is a sought-after thought leader and presenter, including for the Australian Regulatory Summit, Women on Boards, and Hunternet’s Hunter Future Leaders Program with her Commercial Acumen & Business Contracts training and the popular Board Hypotheticals & Director Masterclass.
