HunterNet Career Connections are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as an Apprentice Boilermaker, with our host company in Argenton. An exciting opportunity to complete a Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication, become trade qualified and begin a lifelong career.
Working with our host company, who specialise in the heavy manufacturing mining industry, and hydraulic cylinder repairs the successful applicant will complete this apprenticeship over 4 years while gaining on-the-job experience with a local engineering company.

As an Apprentice your main duties will include:
- General fabrication and welding
- Grinding, polishing, cleaning, and general preparation or surface
- General repairs and maintenance of machines and equipment.
- Measure and interpret technical drawings
- Mark out jobs, set up machines, prepare materials, tools and fixtures for fabricating
- Following WHS policies and procedures
- Attend RTO and maintain a high standard of work
Essential Criteria:
- Demonstrated interest and passion for the trade
- Enjoy technical, hands on work
- Strong mathematical and mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to listen, learn, and follow instructions
- Ability to work in a team environment, and communicate with a wide range of people
- Punctual, honest and reliable
- A commitment to adhere to safe work practices
- Car licence and reliable transport
