HunterNet Career Connections are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as an Electrical Apprentice, with our host company in Argenton. An exciting opportunity to complete a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician, become trade qualified and begin their career as an Industrial Electrician. Joining our host, you will be working with a worldwide leader and expert in their field. A reliable, innovative company who specialise in the heavy manufacturing mining industry and hydraulic cylinder repairs.
As an apprentice, you will have an enthusiasm to learn and an interest in the trade, as well as an eagerness and enthusiasm to build your knowledge. You will be willing to put in the effort to develop your skills your skills and be able to listen and follow instructions from your supervisors and leading hands.
As an Apprentice your main duties will include:
- Repair and overhaul of mining equipment
- Cable preparation and wiring
- Isolation, testing, verification and commissioning of mining equipment
- Read and understand drawings
- Following WHS policies and procedures
- Attend RTO and maintain a high standard of work
Essential Criteria:
- Demonstrated interest and passion for the trade
- Enjoy technical, hands on work
- Strong mathematical and mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to listen, learn, and follow instructions
- Ability to work in a team environment, and communicate with a wide range of people
- Punctual, honest and reliable
- A commitment to adhere to safe work practices
- Car licence and reliable transport
