Certificate III in Signs and Graphics
HunterNet Career Connections are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their team in Carrington as a Signs and Graphics Apprentice. Working with our host company Hivis Group, we are looking for a motivated individual with a strong work ethic who is interested in completing a Certificate III in Signs and Graphics over 3 years.Â
The HIVIS Group is proudly a local, Australian family owned and operated company. Since its establishment in 1960, the company has grown to become one of Australia’s largest manufacturers of road, safety and specialty custom signage & safety products.
As an Apprentice your duties may include:
- Preparing vehicles for application process
- Applying vinyl to vehicles
- Applying print to metal signs, traffic cones, pipes or similar
- Read an interpret job sheets
- Machine set up
- Always follow and apply all safe working procedures and practices
What we’re looking for:
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work to high quality standards
- Good manual handling skills
- Willingness to learn and complete competitive tasks
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Commitment to attending and completing all requirements of TAFE
