And you don’t necessarily need to already be a recruiter.
You might come from engineering, manufacturing, mining, operations, technical sales, HR or project delivery. You may have spent years building relationships across the Hunter and understanding the businesses, roles and people that keep our region moving.
That experience is incredibly valuable.
Recruitment in this space is about much more than posting a job ad. It’s understanding what a business really needs, asking better questions and knowing the market well enough to connect the right people when an opportunity arises.
At peoplefusion, we’ve spent more than 20 years building relationships across Newcastle and the Hunter. We’re looking for someone curious, comfortable starting conversations, good at following things through and genuinely interested in people.
You’ll have plenty of support, but also the freedom to bring your own experience, relationships and ideas to the role.
For someone coming from industry, it can be a really interesting career move. You stay connected to the businesses, projects and people you know, but see the Hunter from a different perspective, helping businesses build stronger teams and people make meaningful career moves.
